Hey I have someone following my blog!!!!

As you can see by my blog I'm a typical old school male, very good at sharing (not). Anyway its nice to see I have a follower, thanks Trish.
I love checking your blog, your enthauiasm is contagious.
As for your spooky sixth sense I think I have it when it comes to finding stuff on the side of the road.
Today for instance I was returning home from doing some last minute Chrissy shopping (I did walk past an op shop in Highett Rd but it was closed for Chrissy already but noted it for visiting later) so anyway I normally try to turn down a different street to get home to see if anyone has left me any presents on the nature strip. I saw a crock pot outside a house that often leaves stuff out (Do I want it? no, well maybe) so by that time I had passed it so I had to turn down another street to go around the block, noticed something accross another road so thought I should have a look, nope, no good, good pair of roller blades but my kids have all got roller blades so back to get the Crock Pot. While heading back I see a chair, side table, and vinyl guitar case so I stopped to see if it was empty or not. Well what do you know, nice Bella brand guitar in as new condition and all strings ok. Looks to be reasonable quality, made in Korea so its not top of the line or anything but I have seen much cheaper looking ones. So now its mine, well my kids cos I can't play at all.
Another couple of hours in todays temp of 34 stuffed in a black vinyl case and it would have been cactus.
I suppose people dont have time to take things to Op shops so they just leave them on the side of the road. Seems such a waste. If I only had a shed to store things in I would have lots more stuff but my wife can handle only so much junk and I only have limited hiding spots.
Then I have to get organised enough to get around to fixing them up.
I also got today a old seagrass cane chair which I just couldn't drive past. Needs a lot of work which I may never get around to doing but at least I have saved it from destruction for a bit longer. I love old cane chairs.
Hows that for a rave,,,, well now I have a follower I feel a bit obligated to have something for them to follow.
Cheers

Hey Ray!!
I just clicked on this post and I dont have a comment here, however months ago I posted a ginormous one and I'm assuming it didn't go through! Grr.
Anywayyy, in reply to your comments to me, I'll start with the bottle opener.
I haven't had a fine look over it yet, I'll look properly when I get home on Monday night.
There is a 'made in Italy' stamp in the back of it (You may be able to see a bit of it in the image) But nothing else has caught my eye, but I know with a lot of collectibles, makers marks are sometimes well hidden so I'll have a good look later!
In reply to your other comment, umm YAY PRESENTS!!!! You don't have to do that! Thats just lovely! The Christmas decorations gift story is still one I tell people when selfless acts come up in conversation!
I'm so appreciative!
I'm glad you like my bike! It was a gift from a friend and it's not in the best condition, but I've ordered in lots of new parts including a tall sissy bar and new chrome mud guards. They are all currently rusted well into the metal so the new ones will look rather spiffy.
I also went to a second hand bike shop and bought a 3 speed wheel and gear shifter in a matching colour, (they're vintage ones) So I just have to get that all happening and I'll have a pretty rad bike I think!
I'm considering buying an orange flag for the back of it, just to be completely dorky haha.
How's your auction house going?
I regularly check what's up for auction! It's interesting what things went for and what people are currently selling!
Big difference compared to watching Antiques Roadshow thats for sure.
Less than 2 years until I open my very own shop!! I'm very excited.
I love love planning things, and have been slowly putting my knowledge together for about 4 years in preparation of deciding what sort of shop I'd like to own.
I've learned so much about small business and I think and hope it'll be successful!!
I'm starting up the shops website soon, and will be moving my blog over to there to start building traffic there so I have a great marketing tool when the business opens.
Well I've blabbered on for a fair while haha.
I hope some of that makes sense and actually answers your comments. :)
Thanks for thinking of me!!
It's a nice feeling.

Hey ray!! Oh I'm glad you got a copy!!
My appologies for acting completely hypo when you came in! I was slightly overwhelmed haha.
How'd the auction go? Or do I even want to know? hahaha I may be very jealous.
No no, I didn't get the pic! I was WAY too embarrased. I was embarrased even sitting there never mind talking about it! haha oh dear me.
